About US.
My name is Nathan Thompson. I have owned and operated Wide Range Construction, based in Belgrade in the Gallatin Valley, since 2012.
I started in construction in high school in Fruitland, Idaho, building pole barns, then framing and building custom homes from the ground up with a classmate for his dad. Framing is still at the center of what we do. Building here in the Gallatin Valley has been an absolute dream. We are committed to this community and to bringing construction visions to reality.
I have done a great deal of work for general contractors in the valley — Langlas, Hathaway, OSM, Dick Anderson, Authentic, Walker, North Fork, and others — and those relationships were built by showing up and finishing the job right. We hire people who care deeply about the work and can read and execute a set of plans.
Wide Range Construction is a general contractor, and we still perform the main structure in-house when it makes the job better — concrete, framing, siding, steel, and interior wood. I have the knowledge and the people skills to work with homeowners, architects, and commercial clients and get the job done. Whether it is your house or your business, we have the tools and experience to make it real.
I love living in this valley and the work we do. Our business morals are based on my faith in Jesus Christ. I strive to live those values at home and on the job. We also give back through local ministries and charities, and by helping people in need in our community and beyond.
